1957 Fender Stratocaster
Ex- Hank Marvin

Introduced in 1954, the Stratocaster is still the most versatile solid body guitar ever designed.
With players as varied as Jimi Hendrix, Richie Blackmore and Ike Turner,
it has featured in nearly every style of recorded music.

This fully original 1957 Stratocaster is not only a stunning example of the most iconic solid body guitar of all time,
it was also owned by the legendary Hank Marvin for over 20 years!

Hank’s influence as one of the first guitar heroes cannot be overestimated,
his band The Shadows helped propel guitar bands to the forefront of music in Europe in the late 1950s.
Undeniably he was along with Buddy Holly the reason why
so many young players wanted to own a Stratocaster before Jimi Hendrix came along!

This beautiful guitar was subsequently part of the collection of one of the world's most esteemed Fender experts,
and comes complete with case, tremolo, bridge cover, tremolo instructions, lead and strings.
And of course a full provenance, a signed certificate and a picture of Hank with the guitar.

A true piece of history and a must have for any serious vintage Fender collector or Hank Marvin fan!
