1962 Fender Stratocaster

1962 Fender Stratocaster - Sonic Blue

Introduced in 1954, the Stratocaster is still the most versatile solid body guitar ever designed.
With players as varied as Jimi Hendrix, Richie Blackmore and Ike Turner,
it has featured in nearly every style of recorded music.

This sublime all original Stratocaster is finished in Sonic Blue,
probably the most iconic of all Custom Colors.

Without a doubt one of the cleanest slab board examples of this classic colour,
it comes complete with letter from the family of the original owner
and original strap, cloth, tags, strings and case.

This very guitar is featured in Fender, the Golden Years 1946-1970 by Paul & Martin Kelly (page 100).
A copy of this book is included with the sale.
