1962 Höfner 500/1 Violin Bass

The Hofner Violin Bass has become one of the most iconic musical instrument ever designed
thanks to its most famous user, Paul McCartney.
So strong is the association that the bass is also affectionately known as the “Beatle Bass”.

This stunning instrument is in near perfect all original condition.
In 30 years of collecting and dealing vintage Höfner basses,
this is the only 1962 500/1 with close up pickups we have come across.
It wouldn’t be surprising if it were a one-off instrument.
