1960 Gibson Les Paul SG Special
In mid 1958, Gibson decided to totally relook the Les Paul Special and Junior models:
in came a double cutaway version which offered full access to the 22 frets for the first time.
The Specials were also the first to drop the Les Paul name from their headstock and the first official SG model.
With its iconic body shape, well balanced P90s, full neck profile and deep Cherry finish,
this original 1960 Les Paul Special is a perfect example of this timeless instrument..
