1961 Epiphone Casino E230-TD
Introduced in 1961 by Gibson, the Casino is the Epiphone equivalent of the ES-330:
same pick-up configuration and hollow body construction.
But with its white pickguard, and neat headstock design, it looks and feels somewhat different.
Keith Richards and Dave Davies from The Kinks were both Casino players
but it is the ultimate Beatle guitar as John, George and Paul all owned and played one.
This stunning original 1961 Casino is in near perfect condition with a striking Royal Tan finish.
These early “small headstock” Casinos are very sought after and highly collectable,
as they’re also the only ones with the wider nut.
This 1961 model features Mickey Mouse ears, dot neck inlays, black pickups covers,
black reflector knobs, short truss rod cover, and an added Bigsby B7.
And it was so barely used that no strap button was ever added at the heel!
Complete with its original tweed Lifton case and Epiphone strings.
