1962 Kay Speed Demon K-573

During the 50s and 60s, Kay was one of the main producers of electric guitars, basses and amplifiers.
They manufactured countless of cool designs including the 3-pickup thinline Speed Demon.

This 1962 Speed Demon is in beautiful original condition and was sold new in the UK.
It is fitted with a Selmer Bigsby and still sports the shop’s label at the back of the headstock: Chatfield’s in Henley.
As the original frets were brass, the neck has been professionally refretted and it’s now a great playing guitar!
