1966 Fender Mustang

Launched in summer 1964, the Mustang was the third guitar in Fender’s student line after the Musicmaster and Duo-Sonic but was the first with a tremolo system.
It was Leo Fender’s last design as Fullerton’s owner and
was aimed at offering at a cheaper alternative to the Stratocaster.
Over the years it has become a true classic and has been used by greats such as
Kurt Cobain, Thurston Moore, David Byrne or Adrian Belew.

This original 1966 Mustang is in near perfect condition with some light play wear.
It’s finished in Dakota Red, it sounds amazing and its 24” scale makes it a joy to play!
Complete with its original hard case and tremolo arm.
